if you can hold out get a second hand Genesis modulus 5 with the composite half wood half grapite neck

batolini pickups awsome sounding bass

top tone award when it came out they still appear on ebay from time to time not often and they go for 800-1,000

even if you dont get it now i t should be on your list

are you offering the difference between my $400-$700 to the $800-$1000 God Bless you Man Of God

Are you sure? I own a TRB1005 and it's a bolt-on neck as are the 1004's & 1006's!

How about a Lakland 5501? It is a bolt-on, but it has 5 bolts and is very sturdy. Bartolini preamp and p'ups. It is an extremely nice bass and you can find them everywhere for $695. Try www.bassemporium.com . Chuck and John are great. They currently have some 5501s in stock!

4 or 5 no 6

this is what happened im an organist but i also tinker with bass too i had 2 basses my tobias killer b and a fender jazz marcus miller but i recently got rid of my marcus for fender rhodes as a primary keys player that made sense. but even b4 that i wanted a necktrhu (i had one of those too a tobias toby made in korea and a major music store traded me the marcus outrighgt so im not stupid i took that deal.)

thanks for all the post i will look into the shecther and i also like the ibanez
