♥♥To Marry OR Not to Marry ♥♥

Hey LGM

This is my first post in this room, so yall may have already discuss this topic before... but just in case yall havin... hear i go.


"At what AGE do you feel for it to be appropriate or "wise" for you and that loved one to tie the knot"?

 AND

"♥♥When did YOU and YOUR COMPANION tied the knot♥♥"?



....someone once told me to live your life to the fullest and stay single AS LONG AS YOU CAN. Me and "Certify" (as well as others) was briefly talkin bout this topic so I would like to ask everyone out there....



  So what do yall think???

Hear God...I mean besides, in the old days and in other countries, people marry younger. I don't think that there's a specific age for "wise". That's my personal opinion but I know God will let you know when is it appropriate for you.

the answer is unattainable, or you could say it's different for each of us...i got married when i couldn't NOT fall in love with her.  i figured the Lord was telling me to 'wise up...you're a moron to let this one go'!

I believe that the key in what david said is that the Lord was telling him. I dont think there really is an age to say what is acceptable to get married. I do believe once God puts that person in your life you will know.... So take it and run with it.

Tying the knot, CJ, is not like turning 18 and being able to vote, or 21 and being able to drink LEGALLY.  It's not scheduled or determined by a certain age, nor by certain "feelings"! ::)

I like dj's quote but I will say the answer IS attainable!   But, only when 2 people come together and agree,  this is God's will for their life.*


At times it may seem as if you're chasing the wind, but when your lifemate/helpmeet comes along, you will KNOW!

Whether you do the right thing in taking and making that step, will be between you and God, but  trust HIM and not yourself. 

The Lord will not lead you where He's not prepared to go!   It's a good question, but you've  got to get, AT LEAST,  a toe hold on your OWN place in life before you bring someone else into the picture.







*Life, meaning One in God TOGETHER, yet being whole & complete before the union!

Hello everyone-

I think the age it is appropriate and wise for  you and a loved one to get married is the age you are when you really understand and have a revelation of God's design for marriage and family and what God expects and requires of the husband and wife.  Some people mature faster than others.  Therefore, they get the revelation faster than others.

Marriage is a vow made before God between two people who are whole and complete in God and a commitment made to honor Him.  It's not something that should be taken lightly.  There's a lot of responsibility that comes with marriage.

Simple answer - when God tells you to marry.  Which means you need to have a personal relationship with God in order to know His voice.

Also, people need to learn that this life "ain't supposed to be about them" but what God wants from our life.  Quit using our man-made watches to dictate stages in life and put our lives back on God's timetable and we'll be okey-doke!
