School Prayer

Hey all.

I ask that you all pray for me as I re-enter school. I'm in 11th grade and as most of you know, this is when it all counts. I want to get into a great college, and to do that I have to maintain my grades both academically and socially. I ask that you pray the Lord to strengthen my mind and my comprehension to be able to understand all of the lessons and apply my knowledge to the test in order to make great grades.

I'm also entering a new school, and I really want to get socially involved with every in the school, so I ask that you all pray that God send some true, good, friends into my life who know the Lord. I want as many friends because I am a very friendly person, so that is what I ask the Lord to do for m. Place people into my life whom I can help in the time of need and who can help me as well.

I pray for his instructors/teachers. I pray for favor not favortism. I pray that he will be a blessing to his teachers and treat them with the utmost respect and likewise they treat him the same, respectfully.


Theres also a special blessing that I've been asking the Lord for. I ask that you all pray he grants me with that blessing.

Father, in the name of Jesus I pray for SirTJ. I pray that as he enters a new school that first and foremost you put a hedge of protection around him and keep him safe from all harm, hurt, danger, and cancel out the plans of the enemy against him.

I pray for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as he enters this year. I pray for focus, that as he attends classes that he will understand with clarity all that is being taught. I pray that he develops good study habits in order to keep his grades up. I pray that as he gets socially involved with the programs of the school that he will actively tell others about his relationship with you and be a living walking witness and example of Your goodness. To be a light in a dark world where peer pressure comes againt the youth in our school system.

I pray for direction as he chooses a career path and college to continue his journey to higher education. I ask all this in the name of Jesus. Amen

In your name I pray that you order this student's steps to stay in your will.  Be the fence that is needed for protection.  Let Your light so shine that the entire school will wonder what it is and come thirsting for You, Jesus!

Grant favor in your precious name, Jesus!  We won't settle for mediocrity, Lord! 

"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;" (Colossians 3:23)

So, Jesus we expect greatness from this student.  We expect You to move on their behalf.  We expect you to show this student their purpose and your perfect will every step of the way!

Jesus, in your name, we thank you for already fulfilling this request!
