Okay, this is the thing.  I am try to learn "Again I Say Rejoice"-Israel Houghton

This is what I have.  I hope it also help someone out that wanted to learn this song.

Chorus
E       A/C#      C#m7     Cmaj7      D   E (twice)

Verse
E
D A/C# (twice)

Pre-chorus
Am7  Bm7  Cmaj7   D

Bridge -(this is where I get lost ?/?)
Em11
C/D
Em11
F#7sus      E7sus     D7sus
Bm7
Em11
Am9  Bm9
Cmaj7  Dmaj7  Am9   Bm9

What I need is the tabulation of  Em11,   F#7sus     E7sus      D7sus

If any one could help me out I would truly appreciate it.

you can just play an Em7 instead of the 11, or you can play

--------5---------
--------7--------
--------7--------
--------5--------
--------7--------
--------x---------

as for that part in the bridge, i know that's how it is in the book, but it's never sounded right to me, ever.

Em11 is basically an Em7 w/ a sus4 and you can play either the voicing in the prior post or the following inversion:

E---10
B---10
G---9
D---9
A---10
E---x

The F#sus4 chord you can either play as follows:

E---9
B---12
G---9
D--11
A---9
E---x

And then slide everything down 2 frets for each consecutive chord. Yeaaaah, it sounds weird but the notes are correct, just maybe not the correct inversion of the notes once all of the horns and keys parts are discected.

Also, those Em11 chords are for the main rhythm instruments when they're playing those 'stabs' behind the "O that men would praise His name" part while the guitar is doing an octave G 16th note part, like so:

E---x
B---x
G---12
D---x
A---10
E---x
Music theory is not always music reality.

;D Yes!  This is awesome! Thanks jlynnb1 and gtrdave!  I can't wait to try those chords out and that Em7 instead of Em11 (nice).

"and again I say thank you" :D
