If you have a CHRIST-LIKE heart, PLEASE READ THIS
« on: August 24, 2006, 01:35:08 PM »
As many of you know, I have been through some emotional abuse for the past year and a half. So a couple weeks ago, I decided to walk away from some of that mess. It has decreased some of the abuse, but now it's beginning to try to come back again. The person who has abused me has threatened to stop helping my Dad, who he has been helping. I got a call about dad having shortness of breath and tightness in his chest when he found that out.

I'm getting ready to go to college (by the grace of God), but it seems like as I get closer, Satan is trying to intensify his attacks on me. I'm torn because I'm ready to move on in my life and it seems like this man is trying to play a guilt game with me and saying that if I don't tell him the entire story about college, then he's going to let dad go and dad is in debt right now. But the man will try to blame me for it.

I'm asking for prayer because I'm trying to hold on and presevere through this, but it's hard. This person who wants to "help" me in college has hurt me so bad it's not even right funny and has accused me of lying because I didn't tell the entire story of what was going on with me in preparing for college. He's hurt me in preparing for college and I don't want him helping me because he has already hurt me too much.

Please pray for me that I will be able to bear through this tough and difficult challenge.

Saw that you used the word help alot in your prayer request ...

Saw that you mentioned how much "this man" has helped and also threatened to discontinue "his help"...

But, Psalms 121 states tells you exactly where your help should be coming from and it is not "man/woman".

Psalms 121:1-2 "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord..."

Same chapter last verse (Psalms 121:8)  "The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and ever for evermore."

Nobody can take away what is not in their power to give.  So, put this in God's hands.  Jesus has always provided a "ram in the bush" for His people (never seen the righteous forsaken nor His seed begging bread).

You must further your education.  Everything will be okay because God already knew this little (yes, little to God - big for you because it's not your battle) situation would arise.

You are only a "victim" of the emotional abuse until you stop thinking of everything in the viewpoint of being a "victim".  YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR THROUGH CHRIST THAT LOVES Y - O - U!

Don't think this is just someone giving advise - I have already overcome the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual abuse that you are coming out of right now in Jesus's name!

You have to run on in God's will and leave everything else for Him to take care of.  Stay strong - most definitely in my prayers.
YES, I CAN SAVE THE WORLD!  My Voice is in My Pen!    Takin' out the Enemy, In Jesus' Name!!
