Here is a nice RH run for you.  It's a reverse run:

/ C, G, F, E, etc.
(repeat)

In order to do this run correctly, start at the right end of the keyboard, then play the notes coming down.  Hold down the sustain pedal for added affect.
Real musicians play in every key!!!
Music Theory, da numbers work!

Here's another little run you can use when you are going to 5.  It is found in the song "Near The Cross" by Mississippi Mass Choir:

Key Db  LH/RH

Db / Bb
C / A
Bb / Bb
Ab / C
G / E-G-Bb-Db
Ab / F-Ab-Db
Real musicians play in every key!!!
Music Theory, da numbers work!

In the key of C:

A,C,D,E,
C,D,E,G,
D,E,G,A,
E,G,A,C,
G,A,C,D,C

Use your first four fingers for each set of four notes.  Of course you could continue this up the keyboard for another octave or two.  Also try playing it in reverse:

D,C,A,G,
C,A,G,E,
etc.

Here's a beut. Key of C:

B,C,D,G

Or you can also play: B,C,G

These runs can be played on top of the chords.

This is a left hand run that I heard a musician play in Columbus and it sounded nice. I am not sure if this is right, if it is not somebody correct me:
In Eb:
Eb,D,C,Bb,A,D,C,Bb,A, G

It sounded like he was playing Urban Gospel Music, it may have been jazz. I'm not sure.

I guess I'm still tryna get used to this lingo.  When you say "runs" you're talking about individual notes, right?  And
bballstud2303 (or anyone else), could you clarify what the dot in between G and Ab means? Thanks.
