actually I keep my treble turned midway between off and half. I can't stand a hiss sound coming through my cab but when I pop that high Gb (for me) I want that baby to scream.
i use to keep mine a hair above the mid setting and it was ok with the organ blaring away, but if it were just me and the guitar player and the drums I had to turn it down. Just too much hissing.
You want to hear a gb sing wait till i get my recording working!!!! I honestly can say that it pops with that gouche feel with these D'Addario 170XL steels on it.
I did adjust my action after i strung it up, suprisingly the only one that needed adjusting was the B string.
