Well, I agree with everybody's responses.  The guitar is a very hard instrument to learn.  I tried it, and I hated it, so I went to the bass guitar cuz it was a little easier.  But, I absolutely love the sound of a guitar, it is one of my most favorite instruments to hear somebody play.  Those guys can play stuff that no other instrument can even "fake" playing.  It definitely adds volume to a song, and brings out that "good" noise.  I sure do wish we had a guitar player at our church.
Real musicians play in every key!!!

I wouldn't even think about touching a guitar if I weren't a general music teacher. It looks cool to play, but man my fingers are just too big. I couldn't get the hand positions right, and as for playing fills; shhhoooottt. I can't do that on piano, yet so forget about guitar.

Mad props to the guitarists out there.

However, a piano played well can outshine any instrument. And that is strictly my personal preference to which I am entitled, so don't go there.  ;)
