I do this (or a variation of it) in just about every key, but I'll do it in Amaj.
It should sound pretty.

I usually play the chord like:
A-E-Ab/C#-E-Ab

Then do the run:
Ab,A,Ab,E,B,E,C#,A,E,A,Ab,E,B,E,C#,A...

Then just play whatever chord comes next.
You can do it really slow, or really fast too.

That's the only one I can think of now without sitting at the piano.

In Eb, one of those runs you find in fast songs at the end of verses:
Gb,F,Eb,C,Bb,C,Eb,F,Gb,F,Eb,C,Eb

-This is kind of hard to do considering you would have to cross your fingers over one another, that is if you do it like I do.

Here a SICK run I do in Db. It replaces this chord....

AbGb/CFA --------------- this is the normal 5 chord. The run below replaces it.

LH/Gb,Ab, RH/A,C,D,F, LH/Gb,Ab, RH/A,C,D,F, LH/Gb,Ab, RH/A,C,D,F,  going up

whlole run: Gb,Ab,A,C,D,F,Gb,Ab,A,C,D,F,Gb,Ab,A,C,D,F,

Play this fast going up the keyboard. It should be smooth. Check the fingering I use below.

LH/3,2, RH/1,2,3,5,LH/3,2, RH/1,2,3,5,LH/3,2, RH/1,2,3,5,

If you have any question, please ask.
God first, music second...

I AM ABOUT TO ASK A STUPID QUESTION BUT PLEASE HELP ME ANYWAY GUYS. WHENEVER I READ A POST OF A RUN, I GET CONFUSED TO WHERE TO START THE RUN. DO YOU START THE RUN FROM LEFT TO RIGHT THE WAY YOU ARE READING IT? FOR EXAMPLE: IF SOMEONE POST A RUN LIKE THIS..Eb,C,Bb,Ab,G,F,, DO YOU START WITH THE Eb THEN GO TO C THEN Bb OR DO YOU START FROM THE F,G,Ab, AND SO ON. AND I ALSO WANT TO KNOW WHY DO YA'LL USE THE / BAR AFTER SO MANY CHORDS. THAT ALSO CONFUSES ME. WHY NOT JUST POST THEM STRAIGHT OUT THE WAY B3WANNABE DID.  AND PRETTYCOLD4RM PLEASE DON'T TELL ME YOU ARE DOING RUNS WHITH TWO HANDS CAUSE IF YOU ARE THEN YOU ARE AWSOME!!!! AND WHO IS THE PRETTY LITTLE GIRL IN THE PIC PRETTYCOLD4. SHE IS GORGEOUS....AND NOW ON A MORE PLAYFUL NOTE..ALLONESOUND YOU ARE A DIME PIECE BABY CAN I GET YOU PHONE NUMBER!!!LOL

You start the run or chord with the first note that is shown from left to right. For the / marks they are just used to seperate things like left hand and right hand L/R.

Here's another run.

In Eb for fast songs like 'I'm A Soldier'"

Eb, Eb, G, Bb,Db, C,Bb ---------You can also move this up to Ab when your playing (same have movements).

THANKS MANOFPRAISE. YOU ARE A WHOLE LOT OF HELP MY FRIEND. AND ALSO A TRUE CHRISTIAN. AND SPEAKING OF "I'M SOLDIER IN THE ARMY OF THE LORD" HOW WOULD MANOFPRAISE OR ANYBODY ATTACK THAT SONG IN Bb PLAYING WITH BOTH HANDS AS WHEN YOU ARE PLAYING WITH A BASS PLAYER. NOW I DON'T REALLY UNDERSTAND CHORD NOTATIONS. SO IF YOU COULD JUST POST THE REGULAR NOTES. AND BY THE WAY I AM KINDA ADVANCE. I HATE SAYING THAT CAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE BRAGGING WICH I DON'T BRAG CAUSE THE GLORY BELONG TO GOD!!! BYE FOR NOW AND MAY GOD BLESS EVERY MEMBER OF THIS SITE.
