Marcus Miller b/c I think that he is definitely on top of his game right now and has a sound like no other!! But Terrance Plamer would have to be a close second

I'd have to say Victor Wooten on that one. Although his slapping is somewhat repetitive, he has some amazing riffs that I'd love to learn and be able to do off of the dome...

I would have to say Victor Wooten -he can solo and show out with the best of them, but when it's time to just lay down a groove he can be content to just sit in the pocket.

I don't want to be like another bass player.  It would be like wiping out the past 13yrs of hard work that I have put into my skills!  But, if I could swap my life for 24hrs I would like to be John Patitucci...just know and experience what goes through his mind when he plays.  I am more interested about what makes a musician tick rather than playing like them.  That doesn't really explain anything to me.
