The older I get the more I find that MOST church folks talk a lot of talk, but don't study the concepts of scripture. First of all we got folks trying to comment on stuff and they tell me and other folks that "God" called them to sing/play. That aint bible, and thats off. now if you told me he told you to preach, ok, but sing, THAT AINT IN THE BOOK, but then you wanna turn around and comment on things and try to straighten out folk doctrinally...
You hear a singer and do what she/he say, and believe what they say, but won't adhere to the bible, nor be faithful to prayer meeting, bible study and the things YOUR pastor tells you to do, but you filled with the holy ghost, that dont match...
Go and preach the gospel to the world, Not sing it. And dont even go there about it reaches folks, cause it aint for that, sacred music is for the church and not the club, its for the saint, and not the sinner that aint in the body, the Preaching of the gospel is for those that have never heard, this could partly be the reason why people dont have a good doctrinal foundation, and you tell what you believe, but go to a church every week and don't know that doctrine of your church or your organization, cause you thought that singing could save you, I dont know, Just wanted to get this off my chest too.
