ummmm Sis. ReddGirl, I think it's safe to say that oxtails come from the tails of oxen...LOL.  They are sorta like neckbones, but in the tails.

Do you mean Grits as in food or do you mean grit(Minute rough granules, as of sand or stone)

Grits (food): White or Yellow hominy made from corn, niacin, and a bunch of other stuff. Great with butter, cheese, salt & Pepper
