I have no idea cause the Mo8 haven't come in yet. I should get it probably Monday and Tuesday. What I may do is midi my MO to my Radium49 and put that on the top and put the MO on the side for the bass and synths...and if I need the piano I just use the MO itself.

How you going to play all that stuff. ;D I need some equipment.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

You be surprised what I play with on major services.  I had 3 boards for convocation last year LOL. One on top, bottom and on the side...the one on the side was just for drum tracks.  The conference this year is at my church and I have 4 boards running this year...I don't play! :)

You should first set a "budget".  The Fantom, Triton and Motif are all nice, but if you don't havr $2,000+ to spend on a board, then you shouldn't ge these.

i agree -- we didn't have $1000 to spend on a Motif, which is what I really wanted.  So instead we got the Kurzweil SP88 which has decent piano sounds and can convert into a pretty good controller.

lol! when I play for something big at my church I use the Yamaha MO8 on bottom, and Korg TR6 on top, the Korg is connected to the laptop 4 virtual instruments and to play back tracks... also a MPC for the loops!!

How you like that GW-7 man? What are the sounds like? (pianos, basses, horns, elec pianos, strings, organs, ie: basic church instruments)
Keys, bass, drums, trombone, I sing a lil bit too lol

Well, The sounds are great basses are pumping. I just got it so I'm still learning. Man the brass sounds are tight. One of the things I love about is that I can tweak the sounds very quickly. However, I like to layer and split my sounds; this board will only let you do one or the other. But other than that it's good. Will talk more about it later.
Question (off topic)
Can I use a MIDI controller to split and layer?
really don't know what that is, just have always used more than one board.
