What's Up Playas
I have two questions I want to ask, has anyone purchased any of Norm Stockton video's and what's your opinon. And what's the main focal point of his videos what would be the benefit of having any of his video. Would I benefit more from technique or application of or theory. Also there is a site that I've taken a look at called www.get-it-all.net, the programs contain modes, scales, bass licks, and blues licks. It's an instructional software progam. Just wanted to know if anyone has heard of it or used it. If so can you let me know if it is worth the purchase.  Can't take lessons as I'd hope I would be at this time so I'm looking for other tools to help me right now. I did purchase the Bass Fitness book and I like it. There is also someone in my area to get together with and practice with but we just haven't been able to make that happen just yet but we are working on it.

I have the whole set of Norm's vids and I love them. I would by the all over again if I had to.

His main points are the groove. He does go over just about all parts of playing bass. DVD number 4 is about the drum and bass and playing in the pocket in many styles and time signatures.
