Rhythm Grooves to practice to..........
« on: September 18, 2006, 08:48:52 PM »
Well since folks are offering up some grooves to practice to I thought I'd contribute as well. I have a huge library and picked a variety handful to post here. These are in .wav format for easy importing into whatever programs you guys tool around with! All are aprox. a minute in length and have a short fade.

gruv 1
gruv 2
gruv 3
reggae gruv
slo gruv
5/4 gruv
6/4 gruv

Have fun practicing!

Absolutely. They're not limited to any particular instrument!

Hey Thaaanxxx
Those are some nice grooves I appreciate them. They make my practice time more fun, you can always post some more or let me know were to go for myself. Either way will be appreciated, yes they are helpful for me at least. Thanks again.

I have a huge library of loops on cd's that I purchased over the years. I used to run my own project studio and it is a necessity! I will most certaintly post some more. Maybe over the weekend as I have to peruse through all my cd's to find some I feel are suitable to be played along with! I then have load 'em up into Acid Pro and copy and paste them into 1 minute length loops as most are only 8 or 16 bars! Unfortunately, unless I can regain my mp3 license, I have to render them as .wav files which cause the files to be larger than an mp3 file would be.

Playing Displacement (TIGHT GROOVE LOOP).mp3

Get Yo Groove On (Drumloop).mp3

Studio Time (LONG Drumloop).mp3

Nice Drum Pattern (Loop).mp3
Thanks for these. These are nice! I have some loops in this style but wasn't sure to offer them as a tool to practice bass to. But I have some if y'all want some.
