WoW you said alot Doc, the crazy thing is it has become so true. Church has become more commercial and more about money,than people souls being saved. Me personally I don't need to hear a word about tithes(Especially if you have the same members,If you preached it once that was enough). I look at TV Pastors, I wonder if that is a true word from God, how is it that everytime I see them on TV, they start hoopin and hollerin at the same time and finish in the half hour(I could be wrong just my opinion). With the times we are living in people need to hear the steps to making it to heaven more now than ever.Tithes don't get you in to heaven but thats what people offer to God and think that is enough. The sad thing is people in the church are more concerned with women preachers(I support that especially when men are not steppin up to the plate, but more than anything God uses who he wants,after all he is God), Christian Rap(Which is the way todays youth can witness to teens that need to come to christ), and more concerned with how someone looks. When is the last time some of us have gone out in the street and witnessed to someone who needs Christ? As far as christians being rich, are we studying to shew ourselves approved? When I say that I mean are we taking advantage of education, are we going to school to obtain more and more knowledge. I have never seen Jesus let money rain from the sky(not saying it cant be done). Yes we have faith but faith without works is dead, so we gotta do some work too. The church as a whole need unity. We need to drop the denomination stuff, it's not important at all. This what we should ask each when see each other "Hey do you believe Jesus is the son of God, do you believe he did for me and you, and are you here to praise God?".If all those answers are yes then let's go in the house of God and do what we here for... Someone is not going to feel the way I do its my opion as well but it is time for a positive change be blessed.
