3.Amazing Grace
4.Looking for my Jesus-Dorothy Norwood
5.Cooling Water-Lee Williams with Melvin Williams
6.I'm Gonna Make It-Lee Williams
7.Good Time-Lee Williams
8.Jesus is alive and well-Lee Williams
9.LOrd you've been good to me-Jackson Southernaires
10.Fix it Jesus-Canton Spirituals
If anybody know how to play any of these songs reply back.It would be a big help

I just started playing bass about 5 months ago. Progress has been slow but steady. However, I'm in desperate need of some help.
I've been coming to this site about for the past 2 months, getting lots of pointers from many or you. My predicament is that, I'm getting many new songs thrown at me at a very fast pace and often times without sheet music or sometimes with sheet music but no example to play from. The pianist and keyboardist at church encourage me well and state that I'm learning very fast but that's not enough for me. I've got to give good the very best I can. So this is my cry for help to better reach that goal.
OK.... I got long winded there...
This is what I'm looking for if you can help.
1. A comprehensive site that might have bass lines for gospel music.
2. (More immediate need) Bass lines for
(Come on and) Bless the Lord with me ... Hallelujah
I Love You Jesus
Give and it will come back to you... press down etc...
3. Prayer that I do well this Sunday, as I'll be the only musician. "Solo Bass"

Hello All,
I'm not a new bass player, but I've been away from it for quite some time now (about 10 years). Though I've rarely played at all over the last few years, the urge has never left me. To make a long story short, I found my way back into my old church a couple weeks ago, only to find that the organist had quit and my old buddy on guitar was carrying the entire service by himself.
He and my pastor asked if I could help out and of course I agreed. But now, the Praise team is throwing songs at me so fast that I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up, And more importantly, I don't want to sound like I've been away for so long.
I've watched this board for a couple weeks now and I sincerely appreciate all of the great tips and advice you guys are posting. You are truly a blessing!
Hopefully, someone will read this and post tabs or advice for these songs:
Isreal - Rise Within Us
Isreal - Another Breakthrough
I'll be fumbling my way through these this Sunday, so I'll be grateful for any help you guys can provide.
Again, thanks for the immense help you've already given me. I look forward to reading more and growing steadily in my ability and faith, with the help of all who post here.
