Bb--Eb--F# (2) Bb--Eb--F#--G--Ab C--F#--Bb
you have the 8th fret of the A string set as F#. i believe it is just F. F# is the 9th fret. correct me if i'm wrong

It's posted on page 4 of the listing of tabs. Here's the link http://www.learngospelmusic.com/forums/index.php/topic,32742.0.htmlThis has it tabbed out in the key of E

First I want to express that I believe this site is a wonderful blessing from God. My wife just bought me a 5 string Squire by Fender, and I want to learn to truly let God minister through me and my bass.
For service, I need tabs for Thank You Lord, Center of My Joy, What a Mighty God, and Glad I've got Jesus.
I appreciate it.

If you go to YouTube you can find a walk-through on how to play this song. I recorded it last night. L-A-T-E last night. When I get home I'll start a thread to link to it (can't do YouTube at work). In the meantime if you go to YouTube and look for my profile (malthumb) or do s search on Center Of My Joy you should be able to access it. Peace, James

Hello everyone. I am an beginner bassist and I am trying to digest as many songs as possible so that I may play for my church(which currently has no bassist). One of the songs sang during worship is Israel's song take the limits off. I wanted to know if anyone had the tabs to that song? I looked but saw no request or post for it. So if you could please help it would be a huge blessing.

Hello everyone. I am fairly new the the Bass guitar as well as this site. I encourage everyone thats new to the Bass and looking for tabs to first get a working understanding of scales, modes and intervals. Then, start to train your ear to pick up the root notes of each scale or mode. Also, you should listen for the rhythm of the bass line. I am in the process of training my ear and it has opened up a whole new world. Having an understanding of theory and having an ear for music will promote tremendous growth. That way you won't be a handicapped musician looking for tabs all the time and you'll be able to jam in whatever setting you find yourself in. Tabs are like sweets, they are cool every now and again while your growing but to much will "spoil" your growth as a musician and you'll become handicapped later on.

Go here -----> http://www.learngospelmusic.com/forums/index.php/topic,54442.0.htmlIt's a video walkthrough with a 5-string bass. Welcome to LGM Bassplayer01 and Christlike1984. Hope you guys stick around and hang out a bit in the Bass Forum. Christlike1984 makes a VERY good point about leaning too much on tabs as a crutch. That's why I stopped writing tabs and started doing video walk-throughs. They can still be used as a crutch, but for someone who wants to learn how to play bass, they're good for showing how certain patterns develop. Any, have fun here at LGM, learn a little, and Praise all the time! Peace, James

I'm a little late in the game but some people say better late than never. I really appreciate your videos as they allow me to actually see what I'm hearing and see where the rubber meets the road. Thanks to sites like LGM I am learning by leaps and bounds.
