LOL....Give me a second...I had nothing wrong with the way they were praising but there needed to be order as to be in the house. Jumping of the pulpit like they are jumping in a mosh pit(Not cool). We have energy like that when we minister but we do it in a form that you can get into it but understand every word that is coming out of our mouths....Ok I am gone.

I feel you bruh.  I know all to well about curbing and redirecting energy, because I have to do it all the time @ my church/anybody's church.  Just adding a lil' comic relief.   

On the same vein, but different path:  The youth of this day and age respond better to things that are a little more edgy.  Therefore, there are those that 'speak' to that part of them.  True, some take it TOO far at times and that's why we have those saints in positions to rectify that.  I hope I'm making sense here, because I can't really find the exact words I'm looking for.

I would like to believe the pastor interviewed the rappers and he may approve of a radical appoach.
We dont know.... ok. I dont know, I wasnt there.


But if in the end, someone was saved, received the holy ghost, got delivered, got bulit up in Christ, or even a seed planted in a man's spirit that tells him "Wow, mebbe I can be saved too...."

On the real...these katz had no respect for the house, none whatsoever. There's a line that should not be crossed. The one thing that seperates a gospel musician, artist whatever you want to call yourself from a secular artist, is ministry!!!! Point blank, it's about ministry, now does that mean, there isn't a degree of entertainment, no not at all, think about it...how many times you been to a kirk, donnie, tye, hez concert and all the ladies were screaming???? and not screaming halleluah... when we see a choir director, flailing his/her arms and dancing are we not entertained??? when tye runs east to west on the stage and GA is doing their steps are we not entertained???

Even with Tye's jumping around and wilding out there is order and the message is clearly delivered. I've never seen Tye have a Mob of people jump on stage.

I've seen a scene similar to this before at a church in DC.  Detrick Haddon was the artist.  While the pastor did not stop it right then and there...becasue it was a community event I guess not put on by them but their church was just used as the host sight for the event.  Anyways....she publicly BLASTED him on her radio program the next day for disrespecting her house, and needless to say she banned him from ever coming there again.

It's all love bruh.  You know as well as I that there's no room for anybody else when GA takes the stage!

Well, I saw the clip and the only bad thing I saw there was:  "There was no order in that church!!!"

The music I can deal with, the rapping I can deal with, everybody on they feet dancing for Jesus I can deal with.  I have nothing against Chrisitian rap music, in fact I own some CD's myself.  What I couldn't deal with was the fact that everybody was all over the place.  The rappers was running around, jumping in and out the pulpit, and all the kids was just "wildin out".  Yes, we should have fun in church, but not to the point where somebody could get hurt.  I know some people have been to parties or clubs where they have that mob scene, and somebody falls down and gets stepped on, or fights break out cuz people hitting each other.  I don't think the people were doing anything too "worldly", i think they just lost self-control.

Had the people exercised some self-control, this clip wouldn't have bothered me one bit.  I wonder where the pastors or leaders of the church was, cuz had this been my church, the show would have been over before it started.  We have a Christian rapper at our church and a lot of young people.  Our church don't act like that nor would my pastors allow such behavior.  When our rapper gets up, we all stand up and have a good time, but we don't go buckwild like that.

It seems as though most of u all didn't like the fact that they were jumping around and gettin krunk, but I again didn't see anything wrong with it- now if we're gonna go on "safe" mode and talk about this being possibly unsafe, what about these women and men who be shouting and hitting people, not mentioning the ones that deliberately fall out in your lap while they're shouting.  Id rather be getting crunk for jesus anyday before act out, and fall over people.  And it does happen a lil toooo often...  Im not talking bout the ones who do it only once but them "shouting saints" who fall evertime the musician hit Eb for a shouting run!  Now my pastor wouldn't have came down and stopped this, however, when rappers come to our church, we get out the pews and have a good time, to me the church shouldn't even be a place where u feel as though u r rapped to confinement in a certain area or a certain space while u praise.  Praise should be unlimited, uncontrollable (b/c when u in worship, God takes u out of urself, and into the spirit of worship mentally), and most of all unique in ur own way.
