Quick Bible Question?

Ok, for those of you who really know the word... I need your help. In my sunday school the teacher wanted us to find out "Was Deborah a sista girl"... basically was Deborah black... I've been searching all day but I can't seem to find it... any help would be appreciated....

If you need more information on the lesson just let me know.

I dont think the scriptures states whether she was black or not. She was an Israelite, she could have been a "Woman of Color", I think traditionally the people of Israel were dark complexion.

Why does the SS teacher want to kow if she was black?

There were actually two deborahs in scripture

1. Gen 35:8

2. Judges 4:4 they both were Israelities
