Brian Blade a must see for all musicians

plays vintage roundbadge grestch or canopus (a japanese boutique drum maker) 15" or 16" bass drum (or sometimes a 28", depending on gig) 12x8, 14x14 toms.

deep snares, 16" old avedis hats, 24" old avedis ride, spizzichino and old k/k constantinoples...

this guy is phenomenol... such energy and execution and his TOUCH!!!! HIS TOUCH!!!! ahhhhh

plays with kenny garrett, joshua redman, daniel lanois, joni mitchell, emmylou harris, wynton marsalis, basically everyone...

Yes sir, This is one of my altime favorite jazz cut Jazz Crimes by Joshua Redmen with Brian Blade on the set.. I have it as my myspace song.. I kill the album.. Man I play this clip at least once a week.  Brian is the man, period.. Stay Blessed, Nate J.

I forgot about my man Brian.  I got hip to him by listening to the REAL Kenny G (Kenny Garrett).  He's nice.  You can hear the Tony Williams coming out in him on this clip.  If you want J-Kay I can send you some of the stuff from Kenny's John Coltrane tribute album that has him on it.  Hit me up by pm if you want it.
