I dont know who it was that I shot down for using an Evans Hydraulic Head on their snare drum but I was wrong! I swapped a snare with a friend for a Joey Jordison (which I did say Id never get but (Dway's sounded so sweet!) and he has a Hydraulic head on it and it sounds and plays FOINE!!!!!!!!!! Ima keep it on and its black like the drum so it looks even more wicked! So Im sorry whoever it was!

CAVEMAN FOR REAL!!! ;D ;D ;D Yeah, I need to try that out fo real. Coated heads aren't holding up when I'm playing hard anymore. I'm going through 1 head a week. Evans and Aquarian.

for those of you who are going to try it for the first time i would suggest you play A LOT with the tuning cause you may not get what you want the 1st time plus it's a different kind of head than a coated so you should do different things to get the different sounds out of it....

bbd i love you you are toooo much fam!!!!!!  ;D keep me laughing

it can give you a nice crack if you play with it
