Regardless, this is what I'm talking about. This may be a simple little lick, but it could really set a song apart, and it's awesome to see how others play stuff.
I love getting fresh ideas from folks that play differently from me. I'm not that funky (I try, though lol), and this isn't a lick I would have thought up on my own, but now it's going to have to find its way into service.
Thanks for that, man. I may have some stuff up soon. I realized that I play a lot of the traditional stuff the same (don't tell...), and I thought about starting out with my versions of that stuff, like "Crying Holy," etc. You know, stuff with a walk down to the VI, and then that quick little I VI II V turnaround. We've been doing a lot of that lately.
Everyone keep it rolling. I'm psyched about this--I mean, the fact that more of us are able to share ideas, and our flavor with one another.
