I chatted with Hammondman today and is excited about the DVD he going to do with Wheatworks next week. He has a nice lineup for you guys and have heard your responses on his way of voicing hymns so he will be doing some for yall. It's a beginners video with 3 hours of material.  Just keep him in prayer! The DVD should be out by the Christmas holiday.
Here ls his Promo

Midi on-screen keyboard?

Far as I know, The Diversi (what Howard used) is what he's going to use since Wheat is a sponsor for them. So will have the boards showing.

Congrats man.  Your vids on the hearandplay message board have been a huge help.

I know you gave us some nice stuff, and I WILL cop it.  Can you give us any details on what we can expect to see?

i will definitely be posting those behind the scenes footage on my site as well as here if its cool with the admin.

all i can say about the video is he really talked extensively to the beginners as well as the intermediates and advanced.......some of his best stuff! sabastian is calling these series of vids " organ essentials " and  he is doing one as well as part of the series....

hammondman really dealt with the hymns for all you hymn lovers......scales are covered....just the main ones......where to play' em and when....licks and a whole bunch of lefthand!!!!!!!!!!
this will most likely be over 3.5 plus hrs, of coverage!!! and yes, you'll be able to see his foot pedals.....midi, and facial shots......we actually almost did a question and answer session, but went a different direction in the end......just an abundance of info:

catalogs of hammandmans stuff is also found at my site www.algieres.com and i will share a clip soon for you guys.....maybe in a couple of days........one thing i can say i learned from this whole experiance, is...it's not as easy as you think! hammondman was exhausted after these two days of teaching........sabastian doesnt play when it comes down to getting the job done! he is consistant and provin!
i say this for all you who think ya ready! a lot of time and money goes into what wheatworks does.....and the finishing product is impecable!!!!!!!!!! sabastian always says " if ya really want to play, don't play around "

anotherthing for those of you who have no clue; sabastian as well as the rest of these respectable musicians to whom we've grown to respect in musicianship over the yrs are reading this stuff we type.....even now!!!!!! that's for you sabastian.....lol......because i know you are reading this now!.........lolyou might think these guys are too busy, but i seen it with my own eyes........they may not say anything, but they're reading, and enjoying! i was in shock to know sabastian knew me before i knew him! and he knows a lot of you guys.....so keep doing what you are doing, its working for your good! to god be the glory!

OF COURSE I DO!!!!  Man, I've been waiting for you to post that info since you mentioned it!

And Sabastian, if you're reading this, I'm a fan.  I have the PJ Morgan Masterclass and the Eddie Howard (can you say BEAST?!?!), and they've helped me tremendously.  You saw a need and you stepped up to fill it.  Beyond the business end of it, What you've done is provide a means for thousands and thousands of aspiring Organists to get the info they need.  Info that many established organists are too busy (and sometimes stingy) to provide.  Your videos have no doubt helped not only Organists, but music ministries across the country.

And me.   :)

Thank you.

As the person who suggested he do hymns, I have to say: HALLELUJAH!

Man, I'm so hype!  I wish I could preorder that sucker!

I don't know if you can tell us the hymns he did, but how many did he do?  The Eddie Howard Vid is crazy because homeboy did about 15-20 songs.  Did Hammond man approach that number?

Hello HustleMan and the rest!

The behind the scenes footage is just awesome, considering Algieres is the FIRST person to get an INTERVIEW of Sabastian and studio.
The DVD consists of the general theory of Gospel music, I talk about what to and NOT to play in service...footpedals, solos, scales, pentatonic scales, harmonic and meodic chording, organist use of the tri-tones, substititute chording...preaching chords, talk music, fast songs, slow songs, mid tempo music, left hand chords & solos with the right hand....and the Wheatworks staple: "SHOUT MUSIC"...my version of one anyway.... ;D
Some of the songs: Anoiting Fall On Me, Holy, Holy, Holy...I'm A Soldier, I Just Want To Thank You...etc...if this video series is successful...Sabastian will have me back for a second...where I'll show you how to do the crazy stuff!

So Support a Brutha!

Sadly, the Organ room is just NOT what it used to be.  There are tons of lurkers, WAITING for someone to post a clip, or waiting for someone to post chords....

But they don't speak up and CONTRIBUTE chords/clips.

It's disheartening that, with over 87,000 members on LGM, less than 1% consistantly contribute.

It's very frustrating.

Well, when you upload the clips, you can be assured I'll be here waiting. :)
