« on: November 26, 2006, 12:15:16 AM »
All of the stuff below is by Russ Ferrente, from "Jellow Jackets".

Polychrds: Two major triads a 5th apart.

Rule: Drop doubled notes.

Ex:         Lh/Rh

C/G for CMaj7 or Amin11.

1st Inversion:    E-B/C-D-G

2nd Inversion: G-C/D-E-B

Open position voicings: (Doubling Permitted)

Ex:     C/G          C starts two octaves below middle C.

C-G-E/B-G-D

Ex2:   Dm/Am    D starts two octaves below middle C.

D-A-F/A-E-C

*I encourage you to explore and find your own combinations of POLYCHORD!!!
