Six Degrees of Separation
« on: December 19, 2006, 01:03:03 PM »
Did anyone see that special on tv? I taped it. It was a good show. The concept was that you could find someone usually in six connections. So if I wanted to find one of you online I probably could do it by finding someone I think may know you. Then they do the same thing.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

I think there was a movie... I didn't see it, though.

The concept of "Six Degrees Of Separation" is an interesting one to say the least, and I guess that's why there have been so many things that are talking about it. There are sooo many examples of this used in television and films today.....

1 - The film "Six Degrees of Separation" 1993, also shows this (if I remember correctly Will Smith was acted in this film)
2 - Six Degrees is a 2006 television series on ABC which explores this, it’s a great show,
3 - The television program Lost also explores the idea of six degrees of separation; all of them are linked somehow, before they are even on the island.

It is a concept that will always be explored and I am fascinated by it..... :D.
