Women seem to aways try to read extra between the lines. This is what Satan did to Eve. I was talking to a friend and I was telling a story that happened. Some how she worked herself into the story that had nothing to do with her.

I don't think that is Satan's influence, I think that's just the nature of women in general.

Elaine, I agree 100% with your statement about "Saying what we mean & Meaning what we say"! This is not only important for men but women as well... things would go sooooo much smoother. You might not like what you hear, but at least you would be able to still have some kind of respect.

I agree with you all long as it doesnt go to an extreme. Usually when a guy does that someone's feeling does get hurt. I made a resolution just to tell people up front how I feel or if I dont like stuff. I have had a long history of holding my peace to spare peoples feelings. That's a bad mistake. Sometimes you have to but not all the time.

Maybe not all women read between the lines but many I have met. I said it jokingly but there is truth in it. Reading between the lines is the beginning of nagging.

So if the woman inquires of how you came to the "yes" or "no" it is not good for a man to explain his mindset? I just assumed that if a person explained their thought process it would lead to a closer walk and a better understanding! And all this time I believed that a woman was of the complex species! Huh!

I'm not saying that, I'm just saying that IMHO it's hard for a woman to accept a "yes" or "no" answer w/out explanation, and I'm not talking about the simple everyday questions.

I agree if you say yes they want to know why you said yes....Women just dont accept the answer you give them
