when you switch over from keyboard to organ how do you play a song. for example if you know a song completely on the keyboard how would you play that song on the organ

Its the same song you just have fewer key (61 notes on an organ) and you have to learn how to voice the drawbars for an organ sound. Learn to play in the middle of the piano/keyboard and the organ becomes easier to learn. Foot pedals are a whole other animal. Practice heal toe method ( pointed end of you foot plays upper notes, bottom of you foot plays lower notes) to start by practicing the scale, then basic bass note patterns.

WELL SAID. ON THE ORGAN YOU HAVE THE ADVANTAGE OF BEING ABLE TO HOLD YOUR CHORDS LONGER AND NOT SOUND LIKE MESS. ITS LOT EASIER THAN PLAYING THE PIANO. BUT, IF YOUR PLAYING THE ORGAN BE YOURSELF (with no pianist) YOU WOULD HAVE TO PLAY AT LEAST SOME OF THE MELODY/HARMONY PARTS WITH YOU RIGHT HAND.
