To be honest,

I've seen Danny play WAY BETTER compared to this video.  The guy is really nice.  Now trying to compare JD and Danny is totally useless in my opinion.  JD has more chops and crazy ideas, but Danny played the GAME!!!  You see it's not about how fast someone can play rolls or split a roll between your right foot and right hand.  It's ultimately about the MUSIC!!  It's how well you can CONSTRUCT a solo versus playing as many notes as I can.  If that's the case enter the World Fastest Drummer Competition LOL!!  However, Danny deserved it and let's be proud that someone from the KINGDOM represented.  He's family ya!!!  If JD would have won, I would say the same thing.  They are in it and representing for OUR FATHER!!!  Take care and God Bless.

I couldn't put that any better myself dude....You hit the nail on the head! I think he did what the competition called for and obviously did it (whatever the judges were looking for) better than anyone else who entered the competition according to judges decision.

yeah man, from that one solo he did on the gospel chops video JD had some sick stuff but there wasnt much in there that made me want to move as in there wasnt much groove. there were grooves but there wasn't much GROOOOVE and thats whats the difference.....IMO
