« on: February 04, 2007, 05:47:22 PM »
I want to know what John Blackwell is playing from 1:40 til the end.  It sounds like a rudiment done fast and he just moves it around anyone know what it is?

He's playing variations of the 32nd note paradiddle.  The last lick he's playing (starting at the 1:50 mark) is still a 32nd note lick.  Listen to his bass drum, he's playing 16th notes grouped in 4's.  He is playing 32nd notes alternating crashes on the 16th note.

My bad homie.  I am not quite the teacher that SabianKnight is.  Hopefully one day I'll be able to break everything down with the detail that he does.
