Basically this went into effect right after Prince's Super Bowl performance and it was noted in several news stories that you could catch the performance on YouTube.  They have pretty much taken all of the good stuff off of YouTube.  I can't find half of the performances I want to see now.  YouTube may lose some folks over this.
When you've done your very best, do even better.

Actually, I was surprised that it lasted this long - they had a vast amount of copyrighted material on there.
