14 inch K Zildjian Mastersounds sometimes I play with a 14 k custom crash at the bottom. Sounds gggrrrreeaatt!!

I don't have the hi-hats i Want yet (you gotta start small)
but i want either the HHX 13" Groove hats or the Hand Hammered 14" Fusion hats

www.sabian.com  (i haven't heard them in person yet but it sounds good on the site lol)

i use 13' HHX evolution hats. i like them because they give u a nice crisp trashy sound.

In response to the original question, I'm using some Sabian 12" Prototype Hats and the Sabian 13" Fast Hats. Play what you like.

I play the AAX 13" Fusion Hi-Hats......I want the HHX 13" Groove Hats though...I love how they sound...I'll get them sometime this year..Hopefully

I have the 13" evolution hats and the 13" AAX fusion hats.

Im upgrading to the 14" legacy hats for a more versatile sound.

I have the 13" HHX Groove Hats (brilliant finish).  I like them.  I don't think that you can compare the two sonically, since they are two different sounding hats.  It just depends on what you're looking for.  I'd say get them both!  *lol*
