The only reason why someone would name their product Super is to try and fool the market into thinking its something that its not. The name has to make up for the lack of thought behind the creation.  ;D

THIS IS WHAT U DO... buy an emad, throw the head away but save the rings, buy an evans eq3 clear batter get u some GORILLA GLUE and glue the ring to inside of on ring closest to the actual batter head but apply glue on the ring behind so that it just looks better (that way no glue is shown) then get u a black Evans EQ resonant tune the batter about an 8th turn higher than the resonant an ur straight =] no more broken emad rings

You are really doing something wrong if you are breaking/tearing EMAD rings doc.  ?/?

I have the SK2 on my Stage Custom and I like It..... It has deep punchy yet boomy sound... :-\...My Stage Custom has the Oak outter ply so It adds a little more power to my kick also.... I say take these guys advice because most of the time their right!.. ;D

...try playing the "head" buddy.  It'll surprise you how well your overall kick sound will be.  It's time to listen to and watch the Real Pro's and the proper technique folks.  The EMAD, EMAD II and PowerStroke III drumheads are the best in the market for a reason.

...you might need to switch to an EMAD II.  Try that.

I dont think technique has anything to do with the EMAD rings fallin off.......they come off because of the cheap glue that its put on there with lol.....I have had that happen to me like 3 times.  The head is fine but it aint really givin you all EMAD options because of that cheap plastic ring that holds tha foam rings

thank brody, im not retarded?? i know how to play a bass drum, but the crappy plastic rings dont hold, u guys dont kno wat ur talking about

I don't know if that was positive or negative lol just let it be known that I WAS agreeing with you :D.  You can have the best technique in the world and that plastic is gonna come off of the head...........thats why I'm tryin out the powersonic
