We all carry the predjuidice of perception. In fairness some of Hammer's views are treated the same. I can say I've learned from all perspectives in this forum. I know people think I'm crazy to but I actually understand where Hammer comes from. I'm not always share every sentiment but I understand his points clearly as I do most of yours. Sometimes predjuidice slips throught the cracks for me as well. LGM you guys are great!!!

Much appreciated and back atcha, Nupe!!! ;)

Prejudice ?/?

–noun 1. an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.
2. any preconceived opinion or feeling, either favorable or unfavorable.
3. unreasonable feelings, opinions, or attitudes, esp. of a hostile nature, regarding a racial, religious, or national group.
4. such attitudes considered collectively: The war against prejudice is never-ending.

I dont see hostility or foul attitude here. I dont see unreasonable feelings or opinions. What I see is OPINION that is given, in a respectful manner, and I also see where people are starting to be cunning and a little disrespectful to get their points accros. Thats not prejudice, in my eyes, its a healty debate, like the other 4'235'456'789 topics on LGM. and if you dont like, then dont post. Simple.

Psalm 138:2

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Let me help ya, Hammer's going to say that that's an OT scripture and we're not under the law any more; so your point is irrelevant........TO HIM; He ALWAYS seems to forget that par.  ::)

Yeah, because if we want to go there, Psalms has a ton of scriptures that talk about loving the Law of God, precepts, ways, commandments, now THOSE words I KNOW refer to written scripture.

Right!  He considers the OLD Testament to be Scripture, yet when you bring up tithe and other things in the OT, "We're not under the law anymore!"

And the NEW Testament?  We'll, we're under grace and not the law, but Paul's writings were not all accurate because only the OT is scripture.

Yea, but again (playing the part of HammerRock), that was under the law before He sent us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. So, we can just throw out the OT.

LOL, SJon  :D. While it's true that we are NOT under the law anymore, one needs to understand that the OLD TESTAMENT is the New Testament concealed, and the NEW TESTAMENT is the Old Testament revealed. They go together. If it were not for OT law, no one would know that they were a sinner and needed to be saved, and no one would know that they COULD not become righteous by trying to follow the law.

Believe it or not, like Furious, I can kinda see where Hammer is coming from, even though I believe him to be in error. The BIBLE is INFALLIBLE, but MAN is FALLIBLE. God knew this beforehand. That's why today we are under grace, and as long as you understand that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is the only hope for salvation, you are covered under grace.

I totally agree with Nessalyn. She 's got it - the Word of God - in her!  If anyone keeps anything that is not theirs -it's called stealing -whole or part of. If it's not yours. don't keep it. Your conscience will beat you up, anyway!!
