Maybe you need to get out more and see what the rest of Christiandom has to put up with. Then you may be a little more understanding of the matter at hand.

The same could be said about you.  ;)

You mean actively attending Nazarine, Baptist, AOG, and various Non-D's in the last 20 years, as well as spending time in Central Bible College in Springfield, MO doesn't qualify as getting out more?

Judging from your posts?  No.  In all of that church experience, to read your posts, you've never come across a good Pastor in a bible-believing christian church.  The only one that is any good is the one where you are now, and he doesn't believe the bible to be the word of God.  So yeah, I would say you need to get out more.

If after all that time and attending all those churches, you STILL can only comment on spiritual bondage and lying leadership, then the problem isn't getting out more, it's YOU.   :-\

And, am I the only one who sees a whole lot more information in such a small post.

You're right; the problem is me. The Lord kept calling me out of those churches and I kept going back there despite Him calling me out. The reason I know so much about what the majority believe is that I used to be in the majority. I used to believe it all, hook line and sinker.

See, the problem is RJ, that there's no life in there. Quoting this scripture or that scripture, doing all the right outward things, getting in line everything the "church leadership" said, even if it didn't make sense.

The only time in my life when I've experienced victory over sin wasn't because the bible said so. It was when the Lord took me aside and taught me how to hear His voice for myself, how to cling to Him. He, the Truth, set me free. The only time in my life when I experienced peace was when I learned to lay everything down at His feet. Peace and Victory allowed the Love and Joy to build up and start flowing out of me.

I'm like John the Baptist. I'm telling people to make a straight path for the Lord but they keep blocking it with everything they can, and usually it's by quoting scripture at me, just like the Pharisees did to Jesus.

It's not about doctrine. It's not about doing all the right things and getting in the right ministry. It's not about going to church 3 times a week and reading the bible an hour a day. It's about 1 thing, and one thing only, and it's the straight-forwardness of it and easiness of it that some people choke on the most.

It's about knowing Jesus one on one. Forsaking all other gods and things and going to Christ. He'll put the right things back into your life that belong there. He'll rebuild you, brick by brick, just as His Church is built brick by brick, person by person.

See, He won't share His Glory with another. He's coming back for His people. a people who can hear His Voice and respond when He speaks. He's coming back for those who have learned to listen, not just quote verse upon verse upon verse. He's coming back for me.

Take everything in your life and lay it down at His feet. Let Him build you from the ground up. This is the only way we can be sure we're built as He wants to build us and not filled with man-made doctrine and dogma.

rumors, rumors, rumors! I love it. LOL yes prech25 and i are the same person... we're brothers of the same denomination.  whenever one of us post something on here we inform each other to go and check it out and respond if need be.  hope this helps all of the inspector gadgets.

As for the grammar, i write like that 2 shorten the post if i can, but thanks so much that u all feel so moved to re-write and correct my whole document. LOL keep up the good work so everybody can understand.

As for what/how i handled the situation... i kindly rebuked the preacher over the phone and told him he had the wrong brother thats all.  i no longer accepted his call until he finally got the point and stopped calling me.  frankly, i'm surprised people would even ask my response 2 such foolishness.
Be blessed.

P.S. wait till i tell my brother about this one! LOL ha ha ha haaaa

I don't think everybody is fit for the paradigm of church as we know it today. The last few years have shown me how people who don't attend church regularly have a purer heart than some that do! I couldn't began to describe how God has used me in forums outside of church to speak the truth about God and not the machine that we see. Narrow is the way of salvation. The hirearchy of church as we know it is numbered under the days of judgement. We all must stand before the judgement seat of christ. Considers this.. The scriptures we read are mostly from disjointed men from the "temple" hiearchies from their day. Most of you who defend the machine rarely acknowldege this. There are great men and women of GOD. God always has somebody. True to God's nature he always raises people up outside of the machine.

These are the people he can use. These are the people who will truely seek him. Anyone can be moral but everybody can't be subject to spiritual things. I have encountered more truth in this mindset than I have in twenty years of going to church. It took me all of this time to learn I was the sanctuary!!! The problems where people  really need the lord in aren't being dealt with. The wrong people are coming to the feast. The Lord has been chastening me like somethng terrible. God is calling me out of some things and I a really struggling!! I asked God for this and now I can barely handle it. This didn't come in "church". It came from the Lord showing me subtle things about me a man. We tend to think we are ok when we are religious but if we ever have that experience that Isaiah, Moses and Gideon had then our perception of ourselves will change.

I'm so thankful for the patience of GOD but at what cost to me? When I ask  what cost to me I mean in my unyeilding in some areas. I am transparent. People like me, Hammer, DFW, Preach25, and sinners need transparency. You guys can say what you want but their is a famine in this area. People want to appear as though they have arrived but they/we haven't. We have a tendency to appear this way for fear that people will find some one else to follow. If we say are following God then what does the crowd matter? Oh I get it. Man tells us if our membership #'s are low that God isn't in our mist.. Is it not written that when two or three are gathered that he would be in the midst? So this is what leads the minority of us who think radically in uncoventional directions. It should be noted that this unplugging comes from God in some cases.

Sinners are being misguided into the machine of religion. Those of us who are unplugged recieve persecution and isolation in certain areas because our speech is not in line with the status quo. WE have a horrible legacy in the church about dealing with sexuality. Most of our clergy that struggle in this area have not properly been counseled/healed in this area. These people are dealling with critical issues. Instead of confessing faults to strong people they are willfully practicing sexual acts that are compromising their witness. I digress. I've said it before these things are there. They are in more fellowships than most of us care to admit. We have a lord is it I mentality when it comes to our fellowships. Truth be told there is some vile situations going on in every fellowship. IF you don't believe this to be true then you are of the machine of CONTROL sprinkled with a twinge of IGNORANCE. Gotta call a spade a spade starting with the beam in my eye..

Oh Lord.........

I find it quite comical that folks who claim to be 'transparent' find it necessary to TELL THE WORLD that they are so. Wouldn't the fruit in your life (or in this case posts) show the world how 'transparent' one is? Oops, did I just say that?  :-X ::)

And, while everyone wants to talk about numbers in ministry, how many is 5,000 + 4,000? For those of you scoring at home, that's the number of people Jesus fed on two separate occassions.  ;)

How many people did Moses lead out of Egypt?

How many people did Joshua lead into the Promised Land?  ?/?  ::)

How many people were 'members' of the churches to whom Paul wrote?  ?/? ::)

About how many people was Peter speaking to during Pentacost and NOT just the 3,000 who got saved that day?/? ::)

All of this talk about small numbers being 'better' as it pertains to ministry is hogwash. There were plenty of folks in the Scriptures who had large ministries and we don't trip about that. Why do we trip about the large ministries of today?

Are there ministries that are fraudulent? Absolutely. But can we STOP talking about them and let THE LORD deal with them?  He don't need our help.  ::) :-\

BTW, I've seen some small ministries that are JUST as corrupt, if not moreso.   :-\

Oh and Free Shipping, concerning the second to last line in your post IF you don't believe this to be true then you are of the machine of CONTROL sprinkled with a twinge of IGNORANCE.; why is that YOU think if people DON'T think like you, then they're 'ignorant' or being 'controlled'?  :-\

I'm out, but thanks for the laugh.  ;) :D
