Judging from your posts? No. In all of that church experience, to read your posts, you've never come across a good Pastor in a bible-believing christian church. The only one that is any good is the one where you are now, and he doesn't believe the bible to be the word of God. So yeah, I would say you need to get out more.
If after all that time and attending all those churches, you STILL can only comment on spiritual bondage and lying leadership, then the problem isn't getting out more, it's YOU.
You're right; the problem is me. The Lord kept calling me out of those churches and I kept going back there despite Him calling me out. The reason I know so much about what the majority believe is that I used to be in the majority. I used to believe it all, hook line and sinker.
See, the problem is RJ, that there's no life in there. Quoting this scripture or that scripture, doing all the right outward things, getting in line everything the "church leadership" said, even if it didn't make sense.
The only time in my life when I've experienced victory over sin wasn't because the bible said so. It was when the Lord took me aside and taught me how to hear His voice for myself, how to cling to Him. He, the Truth, set me free. The only time in my life when I experienced peace was when I learned to lay everything down at His feet. Peace and Victory allowed the Love and Joy to build up and start flowing out of me.
I'm like John the Baptist. I'm telling people to make a straight path for the Lord but they keep blocking it with everything they can, and usually it's by quoting scripture at me, just like the Pharisees did to Jesus.
It's not about doctrine. It's not about doing all the right things and getting in the right ministry. It's not about going to church 3 times a week and reading the bible an hour a day. It's about 1 thing, and one thing only, and it's the straight-forwardness of it and easiness of it that some people choke on the most.
It's about knowing Jesus one on one. Forsaking all other gods and things and going to Christ. He'll put the right things back into your life that belong there. He'll rebuild you, brick by brick, just as His Church is built brick by brick, person by person.
See, He won't share His Glory with another. He's coming back for His people. a people who can hear His Voice and respond when He speaks. He's coming back for those who have learned to listen, not just quote verse upon verse upon verse. He's coming back for me.
Take everything in your life and lay it down at His feet. Let Him build you from the ground up. This is the only way we can be sure we're built as He wants to build us and not filled with man-made doctrine and dogma.
