music theory

please help!!  I don't understand the music theory at all. I have been the musician @ my church and have never known the theory, I want to be the best that i can be for the lord, and i think if i could understand it i could glorify god the more. HHHEELLP!!!!!!!

The best thing to do is to start learning your basic chords and major scales in all keys.  Click on the 'Music theory link for all the information.  God Bless.
