which will help you more on control, a practice pad or a pillow? i've been practicin' on pillows for a while to get my left hand to make a manual rebound then perfect it on a bouncy practice pad, will this be effective?
I would say that working on a pillow will help build your control. I say that because the pillow will not rebound so you'll have work on your full range of motion. You have to pull the stick out of the pillow to play another stroke. Anything when done incorrectly can be detrimental. Take your time and do it right. Dennis Chambers used to practice on pillows with telephone books under his arms. Just a thought.
Pillows vs practice pads - the controversial subject arises! Muhahaha!
Different strokes for different folks.
