I hear all of you guys talking about the Paistes and Meinls! What about Istanbul? Im getting one off of EBAY for $120 brand new... I have heard them before and the are NICE!  ;D... I cant wait to get that baby.. 16" Traditional crash...they have sort of a trashy but musical tone... Im thinking about an 8" splash !  ;D :D 8)

Actually about 65% on here are Sabian cats. 30% Zildjian. 5% mixed. However, concerning Meinls, only ones talking about them would be 28Miltons, JFunky and myself. To my knowledge we are the only ones that support Meinls. Paiste's is just BigBill and jhaynes.

So now on to your question...

Istanbul. Whatever you want man. your ears are what you have to please. If it doesn't sound good to you, you won't play it. I personally like them, but Meinls are my first choice. Thats a decent price on the crash.

I picked up my 16" Byzance Traditional Thin for $70.  ;D 8)

How in life did you pick up that thing for $70 dollars I can find them any cheaper than $140!... Traditonal Byzances actually were my first choice but I couldnt find anything for a good price..Either they were too big in size or too expensive. :-\...Im going to look on EBAY right now!....I wonder what those two cymbals would sound like in a set up? HMMM... that maybe something I need to look into!!
