::: Yo, jhaynes! :::
« on: April 14, 2007, 06:12:39 PM »
So, I'm surfing the web, and I saw this:

When did you switch to GMS, Jeremy (jhaynes)?  Is that an O-zone that I see in there?  *lol*  I know, I know...  That cymbal sounds too good to let go.   ;D

I'll be picking it up on 05.01!   ;D

 :DHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Well the story goes like this! My Man Nat T. Endorses GMS and he has been trying to get me to join the family and he knew how sold I was on them Yamy's he had the CEO to send me a kit of my own to do the session, so of coarse I didn't want to offened my brotha Nat, so I used the drums and "THEY SOUNDED GREAT!" everyone that was there of coarse were surprised to see me playing those drums as well but, they all agree that they were incredible sounding. And as far as the record ALL NEW SONGS!!!!! Except 1 but the record is "BLAZIN!" I'm going to pick it up myself. And "NO!" I can't let go of the O-zone its to HOT! My Paiste rep may be alittle upset but during that time we hadn't really locked down a total complete agreement so they will understand.

...I seriously doubt that doc'.  I'm sure it was the Grand Masters Series or that Special Edition kit like Nathaniel's kit.

From the look of the lugs I'm stuck between the CL or SE series.

Oh, and another reason I asked is because all of the SE and Grand Master kits that I've seen has black GMS badges and the CL kits have the same exact badge as the one in the pic above.

Thanks for the correction JF. I pulled out my GMS catalog and as soon as I opened it I seen an SE kit with that color badge. It pays to spend a little time and find things out.

By the way big bro, I ran into your brother at the GC here in Tampa. If he didn't tell ya, congratulations on the endorsements. Did he finally make up his mind what he was going to go with. (his purchase at guitar center)

...that's real talk right there man.  You should still know your gear though.

...Hey Jeremy, since you won't be needing your Yamaha's anymore, how about you donate them to the "JFunky's Other People's Drumset Fund."  ;D ;D ;D

...I personally love the Yammy's and am stuck to hearing them on that Darwin Hobbs CD.  Good God!!! :o
