This is what I do, when you practice in Ab or Db try taking it up a half step and learn the song all over again in that key. If you are anything like me you notice that the keys we play have a certain pattern. Find the pattern in the other keys.

The thing is not many Gospel music is written in A,B,D or E but it can be done.

The keys of A and B are still my problem keys but it is getting better, but I am about to start a theory class so maybe that will help to, I was forced to play piano (which I love) when our piano player up and quit 2 years ago. I still have a lot to learn but my best teacher has been just doing it!

For songs in the Key of E check out Israel he seems to really that key.

we recently did "i have no other choice" Ty trib/ is in the key of E. i noticed that most of the songs in those keys are more simple songs thankfully  ;D one thing that might help is to chart it out. writing it down helps in the process of memorizing the chord patterns of a key

Exactly.  Most of Israel's songs are written in the key of E.

Yes because he is a guitar player and it is easy for them to play in "OPEN E" as they call it. This is why just about ALL of his songs are in E.  Bishop Cole
