Keyboard to Bass: Need Help

I'm trying to learn how to play the bass can anyone help me. I 'll greatly appreciate it.

I would recommend on major and minor scales to start. That will work you hand eye coordination as well as your dexterity.

I actually just started playing bass after playing keyboard my whole life.  I play completely by ear so it wasn't that hard for me though... I suggest learning your scales inside and out though.  It worked for me

I'm doing the same thing.  I started picking up bass seriously last year.  Since you already know your bass lines on the piano, you simply translate them onto the bass for a start.  Focus on bass technique (how to hold it, how to fret, how to pluck, etc.).  That was a great way for me to start and to practice.  Then learn scales and such.

You can also get a chart that spells out what notes are on each fret.

I'm basically trying to figure out the keys of the strings and which key is in wat fret, etc. I don't want to b at the bottom of the bass and jump to the top of the bass to hit another note in the same scale, i want to have it where everything could b together.
