6 pm is the start time... I think we should put 5:30pm on the fliers

we do not have any monitors but do have the channels to send to the stage through the snake... just need another adapter or two (1/4" to male XLR) and the snake has a male XLR connection.

so we need an amp and a few monitor speakers to set those up.

If ya'll got mic's and cords bring em' we have 12 channels on the snake and only 6 being used...

for your keyboard please bring a 1/4" to male XLR to run into the snake so I can record it... either out the board or pre-amp from the amp you are using.

Bass should pick up through the mic's

I thought I should post this here... we are nearing the time for this event and I would like all involved to please confirm their involvment. Please read the following if you are having second thoughts:

this aint no pro thing... it's a praise and worship thing. just musicians and singers sharing their gifts.

People are not paying for a concert, they are going to give an offering during the event. Already have the fliers being made and distributed in that community.

I pray you all still come and let the annointing increase your gift.

We are never worthy to play for HIM, but through his annointing and increase it is made Holy and pleasing to His ear.

I need to bring another cd to play from but yes we can have that available. Still would be nice if we had monitors set up. I need another 1/4" to male xlr adapter

an amp or two to drive monitors from snake... (female xlr to 1/4" cord... 20' at least)

I still need conformation from Saxandkeys and that group

Devine Groove has stepped out of the event due to unforseen circumstances

I need 1 or 2 more groups willing to make the trek to downtown baltimore July 14th and be there by 4:30pm

This is a mostly black congregation... well I'm the ONLY white member. Not segregating, just letting you know what to expect if you are a group that does CCM. Not saying that folk in the church don't listen to 95.1 but they are accustomed to traditional gospel and some contemporary gospel.

We are trying to attract the local youth in the surrounding community, so they would be open to more contemporary styles. I'm trying to have a lil something for everybody.

Guitar dave... if you and your wife want to come and ROCK OUT... you are more than welcome. I should have invited you and overbooked with the foresight that groups would pull out.

Kad I am going to make some last minute phone calls. I am well networked with Baltimore's low key Gospel Artist. Let me see if they have time and is that time set. I want to be able to tell them the time to be there for soundcheck. I am working on getting my christian rap group there to minister.

Good to talk to you on the phone, kadman.

I'm making some calls as I type so be praying for me that I can get a rhythm section and maybe some singers to come down with us.

Also, like I said, if I can make this happen then I'll cover you in the monitor department w/ 2 powered Peavey wedges and such.
I can bring some extra cables and maybe a few mics...I've got a small bass amp that sounds good but it's only 50 watts. If it's not too big a place then we can run it direct to the mixer.

btw: how much stage time does each 'act' get?

1 Accord (saxandkeys) will be a smaller group than expected due to double booking but will be there

Keys is trying to pull together a lil Gospel Rap thing

I want everyone to be there by 4:30... 4:15 if you're on Black time so we can set up, sound test... and then...
