The Music In Ministry a P&W event in Baltimore... NEED ANOINTED TALENT

Saints, brothas and sistas...

How many of you would be willing to "DONATE" your time and talent to my church media ministry?

I am pondering the idea of having a special service one Friday or Saturday night in the near future to raise money for some much needed equipment to bring our media ministry to the next level.

I hope I can get some help from my fellow musicians and children of God.  This will help the media ministry as well as our music ministry.  The two go hand in hand cause I am also the sound tech for our church, as well as the video guy.

I am trusting that God will answer this need for support and thank all those in advance for your sacrifice.

Any participants can get one free  DVD of the event and clips of them put on the internet if they would like.

Some have asked what participation I had in mind...

This is going to be a musical event.  I am trying to do an event that will be around 2 hours of worship and praise. 

We are a small church and would not be able to "Pay" for your talents, but I will be recording this event and CD's and DVD's will be made.     You will be able to place orders for these to be mailed to you when they are ready. 

1 cd and 1 dvd of the event will be complimentary for each group that participates that you are free to duplicate for your members.  You can also order more than one of each at a cost of $10 for CD's and $15 for DVD's

I would like to have between six to eight different groups that would perform about 15 to 25 mins each.

This event's proceeds will benefit New MT Joy's Media and Music ministry

One more note...

Any musicians that would be willing to lend their time/talent and be part of the house musicians for the event would be greatly appreciated.  They would also be entitled to the free CD/DVD of the event

He should be at the next rehearsal...Then I gotta take him home to get ready for prom...If he cant play that night...We might be able to get a guest appearance from LGM's own Ladybass

I'm sure Ladybass will be willing even if she isn't able.  I need to give a call to David Chance as well.

I'm hoping that I can get hold of Jonathan Nelson, I'm sure he remembers those days when it was a struggle to have a decent drum set, a keyboard that works 100% of the time...LOL 

We are gonna need a couple keyboards for that night if any of you can bring them.  We have drums but they have seen better days so you may want to bring your cymbals and maybe a stand or two.

I'm claiming that this will be and AWESOME time in the Lord... God is a wonderful God and will supply every need.

I think this will happen sometime in June, if planned right I thing b3wannabe will be in town

We are all gonna pray as a whole before this event and surrender like never before.. not only will this be an awesome time in the Lord but we are gonna break some yolks and some souls will be saved.....  shata...   man I feel the Holy Ghost.

I will see if I can get Minister Andre Nance to come through... We will hook up in advance that way we will know what is needed for that night...Shoot me an address so we can see what to bring...

I guess for you it would be considered west bmore.

It's less than five minutes from 95 via 395.  Take Martin Luther King make a left on Pennsylvania Ave, right on Larens, then right on Division St.  Second building on the left...

The corner building is the Church's too, they use it for dinners and what not.

You have to come up with a date....and soon. Jonathan's schedule is extremely busy throughout the year, but especially at this time of it (as we wind down from major events in the Biblical year).

Get me a date, and I'll send him an email. ;)

Do you think at this point he would be willing to donate his time?  Would Jason be able to  help?

At this point, a lot of what Jonathan does is dictated by his pressing schedule and time constraints. As for his brother, I have no idea, but I'll suggest it to him when you get me the dates.
