5-5-3's
« on: May 10, 2007, 07:16:33 PM »
This is a simple warm-up exercise that i use..
orchestrated around the kit
its called 5-5-3

(2) groupings of 3 over 2 followed by (1) triplet.
                         5          5          3
orchestrated  RLRKK   RLRKK    RLK
        5             5          3
or LRLKK     RLRKK    LRK

etc....

blessings,
"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain".

This is refreshing.  Thanks e.

for all you jazz cats and those interested in 4 way independence.. orchestrate and substitute the Left foot...on the hats...
try it... it gets very interesting... and practical, you can use it in alot of different situations...
