Wow.  That is just plain sad.  Glad to see that you are moving on and replacing it quickly.

The idea of insurance is certainly a good one.  The policy I have covers all my gear for REPLACEMENT value.  Replacement value is more than what I have paid in total for all my stuff.  My policy costs just over $200 a year.  That is the price for peace of mind.

Peace,

James

Have you actually played through an Aguilar rig before?  If so, how would you describe them?

Pretty hefty... but if it's pretty much going to be stationary I wouldn't worry so much about putting wheels/casters on it.

I have a handtruck that I tote my rig around with.  So i'm not to worried about wheels.  Plus I'm a pretty muscular guy, so lifting 100lbs doesn't really hurt me.

I'll still be using it with my Kustom Groove 1200HD unless I find an eden 800b to take it's place ;-)

I hear ya. God has blessed me with great strenth but as DW did as he got ummmm ahhh "wiser" :-) he down sized his rig. Even though I'm 26 I work smarter not harder. I like that 1200. I'd like to have one.

Hey, I resemble that remark!! :) 20 years ago (@28), I'd probably be using 4x10 cabs on the regular without regard of the weight!

I was ahhh ahhhh, just saying that I'm not the only one that cares about weight :-).

The only cab that I move around often is my 35lbs JBL 1x15. I use the churches 4x10 ampeg classic cab for youth night. I take my head and axe. On sundays I get to use the mesa full stack. It's starting to grow on me. I use my stack for personal venues that are outside of the church.

I wouldn't even leave my di box at my church. We have saturday night concerts, I never know whose coming in and out of there.

I have the 800A and my 98lbs 410xlt gets transferred via a handtruck.  You'll love the tone the 800 produces.  Be careful with the EQ when you get that heads, its extra sensitive.  One click, and the windows will fall out of the frame.
