Which books do us guitarists need to have?
Like 4HG said, we do have too much information. So much info, but little is applied.
So which books, in each guitarist's opinion, should have?
Limit is three books, give title or describe each book and why is it essential to a guitarist.
*note: respect each others opinion
In my opinion:
Ted green's modern chord progressions:
great book that shows alot of 6251 and 251 progressions that can be applied to gospel music.
MTI solo improvisation book thingy:
shows good techniques with timing, scales, picking etc.
I can't remember the name of this chord book,
but I can go back and edit it because I have green stars
but it shows you a chord and how to play it a hundred different ways.
My two cents
