Red Rover to me was bad when you had some ghetto kids was playing. I used to hate playing that with my cousins. They was too rough...

I feel deprived.  What the crap is "red rover"?  I may have to go back and play it (at 34 years old) just to be able to say that I did in my lifetime!  LOL!

I was lost on thr Red Rover joint too...I just didn't wanna be the first one to say it,... :D

If I remember correctly, there were two teams and they had to hold hands to form sort of a chain.  Then one team would say - Red Rover, Red Rover send Susie right over.  Susie would have to come running and try to break the chain of the other team.  If she succeeded she would take a team member back to her team, if not she became a member of the opposing team.

I do remember the saying "red rover...red rover...send somebody somewhere" but the breaking chain stuff is new to me!

OK...that's a rule...OFFICIALLY....when LGM comes to Memphis again, the hotel is not gonna understand all the grown folks in the lobby playing RED ROVER for the first time in their lives while eating chicken and shouting in straight jackets...

Any one ever play Suicide?? or Suey?....Throwing a tennis ball up against a wall and if you dropped it when it came off the wall, you had to run tag the wall and call Suey!! Before someone beamed you with the ball....Anyone??? Or was that just in my hood.
