For the cymbals, it depends on the ear of the beholder.  There is going to be some variance from cymbal to cymbal.  I could say that I like the 10" A Custom Splash, but when you get to the shop to try it out and once you strike it, you get a *clang!*  instead of a *pssht!*.  Then what?

I said all of this to say, just audition both models for yourself.  You are gonig to get positive and negative opinions on each that you've listed.

The same goes for the pedals you've listed.  I may like the action from the Iron Cobra, but once you try it, you may not like it.  Yeah, you may say that this reply isn't much help, but this is something that you would have to try out for yourself.

nah, u're response is fair and absolutely right.  i just wanted some feedback 4rm others to get a feel for what other drummers thought about the products and to see if they would go in a whole other direction.

A Customs and AAX'S are very similar cymbals.... Like J kay said they very from cymbal to cymbal!! Try them both!!

For the pedals, The same applies my friend.... J kay really sum it up but I was feeding off of his previous info!! 8)

I don't know if this is true, but i've read some reviews that if you spend time with the Eliminator, adjusting it and just experimentin' with it, that you can make it feel like the Rolling Glide.

Not sure about the Rolling Glide (Haven't had a chance to try one) but I've definitely spent long enough to get it to how I want it.

Dude it's all a matter of preference. No offense to anyone else who posted things, I'm just saying we're not going to be the one playing on them in concert and while practicing and stuff. It's up to you to decide what feels and sounds right and what doesnt... But since you're asking...lol

Zildjian all the way
and I'm a personal fan of the Pearl Eliminator

Hope u find whatcha lookin for brotha!!!

Sabian - AAX 10" splash is a better sounding cymbal in my opinion BUT they are two really different sounding splashes so it really depends on your taste. If you like a Manu Katche type sound go with the Zildjian - A Custom 10" splash .

The Pearl - Power Shifter Eliminator is the fastest and nicer feeling of the two BUT the Tama - Iron Cobra Rolling Glide is a way stronger PDL and will last you much longer before a problem.
