Yeah most songs featured on the CDs for kids aren't for kids. Let's be careful.

I think there was a mix-up with the perceived audience also.

I think it wuz kinda silly. These songs n albums aren't targetted to 8 and 9 year olds. They're targetted to adults and to other adults that will let their 8 and 9 year old listen these songs, watch these videos, wear the clothes and open the CD around the christmas tree jumpin up sayin thanks mom/dad. That's the real problem. But ppl don't wanna own up to this. They instead lash out at ppl just tryna make a buck while we invite the devourer of our souls into our homes. 2 hands clap, 1 hand can only snap.

Yea it's a shame.  I think parents are resonsible for letting kids listen to that and then turn around and shake their head and say "Kids today..." but there are times when kids sneak to listen to it...

hmmm thanks for the post. i think the topics raised (in terms of listening to secular music) were debated back in the day, are being heavily debated today, and people shall continue to debate about it and a gree and disagree lol etc in the future.
