hi i have a pastor who is deperately looking for a musician
if you can play a couple of songs and are serious about improving your skills\

this opportunity may be just for you i will provide you with a link to the churches website in addition to cutting and pasting the ad that appears on the website

go to Caregiversthatcare.com  go to the church of the nazarene and click on that and look at what the church offers

dont be intimidated they understand that a beginner is who they will get because i told them that is what to expect so pm me or contact the church directly

please let me know what is going on so i dont have to keep looking if you are already making progress with the pastor

i can help you in anyway you need if you have questions about how to play particular songs i would be willing to help you teach songs for a season if you want the assistance

Responsibilities include...

* Guide the Worship teams , choir and other small groups.

*Be present for a few hours two days per week.

* Plan and promote the church music program with the Pastor

*Maintain all musical instruments in the church

Train choral groups in the church, as well as promote and encourage the growth of our choir

Assist in planning special music, such as solos, duets, and so forth

Students from abroad are welcome to apply, especially those from the West Indies. All who are interested, please forward your resume or contact Pastor Rudy Morgan at solidrocknaz@aol.com or call 347-342-8909 or 718-776-0488

For Real.

Our drummer comes sometimes and stays home sometimes.

This past sunday he walks in AFTER praise and worship, so I had to play the drums.  THEN I went over to the Organ.

The only reason we're putting up with that is so I can get some time on the Organ.  I'm practicing but there's no substitute for live experience.

Our present keyboard player recommended a church he used to play for that doesn't have a musician, and it would be on Saturdays...But my mother and I minister at a retirement home every Saturday so I can't.

It would be GREAT to find a church willing to work with a beginner, but I could never leave my church.

It's just so frustrating.

I would love that, too. Plus, you can be in on the ground floor (per se) of that church's music ministry. And, if there was someone there to help. Awww Lawwd too sweet!!!! :D ;D
